Disney is magical but certain times of the year may seem like anything but..
There’s always something going on in Disney so it’s important to know what you want to see and do
My favorite times to go:
September
I love to go towards the end of September because I’m able to catch the end of the Food and Wine Festival in Epcot and the middle of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom. The Food and Wine Festival is amazing because you’re able to try treats and drinks from all around the world.. and if you’re a foodie like me this is perfect for you. Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is amazing so if you haven’t gone I highly encourage you to go! It’s a separate ticket so you can’t use a regular park admission ticket to attend the party. With the party ticket you are usually allowed to enter the park at 4pm and the party runs until midnight. Prices start at $79 for the party ticket which isn’t bad at all considering what you get. You are able to dress up in a full costume, watch the Halloween parade, meet rare characters, and trick or treat around Magic Kingdom! At the end of the night you get to watch a spectacular fireworks show. Another huge perk is the fact that these tickets are limited- meaning you get to ride all your favorite rides with little to no wait! Amazing! The crowd levels in September for all the parks aren’t bad at all. The downside however is that it’s still pretty hot in September.
November-December
The end of November or early December is another one of my favorite times to go because of the Christmas decorations and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! The weather is also nice too. The Christmas Party works almost like the Halloween party obviously Christmas themed and it is so magical! I absolutely love it and the crowd levels aren’t too bad. Just don’t go on Thanksgiving or Christmas (or the days close to it) because that would be miserable. We are talking wall to wall people where you can’t move. Don’t do it. Don’t attempt it. Don’t even think about the possibility of going. Don’t.don’t.don’t.
May
The second week of May is another great time to go. I love this time because it’s not overly crowded and there’s the Flower and Garden Festival in Epcot! The Flower and Garden Festival is just what it sounds like- lots of flowers. It’s gorgeous, and just like the Food and Wine Festival, you get to eat endless food. The stands have a completely new menu than what they use for the Food and Wine Festival. I had a wonderful time
