I spent a week in Las Vegas and it was a trip I will never forget. It was a lot different than what I was anticipating and I think that’s because of how much there was to see and do. If you are not a fan of casino’s and clubs, don’t worry! There is still PLENTY to do. I included all of my favorite stops that you won’t want to miss!
The Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign! Okay this is obviously a must! It can get VERY crowded here. I went both during the day and at night. There was a lot less people during the day. It took forever to find a parking spot at night and there was a huge crowd. I’d recommend going during the day for this reason. There are people there that will offer to take your picture and move you to the front of the line. Just be aware they will ask you for money.
The Venetian
There’s a gondola ride inside! How cool?! The Venetian is beautiful and insanely big. I got lost more times than I can count in the casino. Even if you aren’t a fan of casino’s, you’ll still want to add this to your list. There’s more to do than gamble and it’s very pretty to see.
Paris Las Vegas
This place is so beautiful I made it a point to come back numerous times during my weeks stay. Just like the Venetian, you want to add this to your list! They have shops and restaurant’s. One of the cafes has crepes! I got the nutella crepe and it was amazing!
Red Rock Canyon
Amazing views! Wear proper shoes. I did not and ended up with horrible blisters. Remember sunscreen or you will end up with the most intense sunburn of your life. Get an Uber and pay the extra $ to get dropped off at the heart of the location. Don’t do what I did which was refuse to pay the fee because I was determined I could make the hike and figure it out on my own. (I’ve watched plenty of survivor shows automatically making me an expert) I was terribly wrong 🙂 I had a protein bar, a bottle of water, and no cell phone service. I thought I was going to die in the desert but it turned out to be a very exciting story! Sorry, Mom.
In N Out Burger
Okay, I don’t know about you guys but I’ve never been to an In N Out Burger before my trip to Vegas. It changed my life. I am now highly disappointed that I don’t have one near me. If you have never been put this on your list. If you are currently thinking “Did she seriously just put a fast food chain down as the best thing to do in Vegas?” Yeah, man yeah, I did.
New York-New York Casino
So much to see and do here too! It amazed me that it truly felt like I was walking through New York. If you make this one of your stops I highly recommend grabbing lunch/dinner at Tom’s Urban. It was the best meal I had in Las Vegas. They have a wide variety too so there is guaranteed to be something for everyone.
I highly recommend going to Vegas with a big group. It makes it so much fun! Get a party bus and go have the time of your life! I know I did.
