The Tour You Won't Want to Miss
It was on my bucket list to go to the Highlands. The Royal Mile had tour information so I went to check them out. The one that seemed like the best fit was with Nessie Hunters. They were not only the most affordable but they had several stops unlike some of the other tour groups I looked into. Some of the other tour groups seemed very rushed and I wanted to truly be able to experience the Highlands without being rushed right back onto a bus. For this reason, I booked with Nessie Hunters. My tour guide was Tully and he was wonderful! He was very informative and had a great sense of humor. The tour was a total of 12 hours. Our first stop was the Highland cows. Then we made several stops to see breathtaking views before going to Loch Ness. We had a total of 2 hours to spend at Loch Ness. I had signed up for the boat ride which was an hour long. You can opt out of the boat ride because it does cost extra. I wouldn’t recommend doing that though because you’ll miss out on all the views! Not to mention.. How else are you going to find Nessie? 😉 There are small restaurants around Loch Ness so I made sure to grab a quick lunch before my boat ride. The boat ride was so much fun! Just make sure you have a rain jacket! It rained a bit but the wind was insane!
